I have just completed a step by step build of the new Bar Mills HO scale model, the REA Depot. There are about 60 photos showing how I built the kit. This way a great kit to build as everything fit perfectly. Is is based on a model on George Sellios's layout. To find the build, got to railroad-line.com, got to the Forums and click on Mike Chambers Craftsman Corner. Then click on Bar Mills HO REA Depot build. Here are a couple of photos of the finished kit.

Another HO shed
My second model for a small contest between friends.
The only rule was that it had to fit on a base the size of a business card.

Fertilizer Plant
I was looking for a nautical based name for a business on my waterfront diorama. I was pleased to find there is a company that sells Seabird Guano fertilizer. Perfect for my needs. Here is the sign on my fertilizer business.

Crow's Nest Bar
I needed a bar for my waterfront diorama. Bar Mills Models Wicked Wanda's seemed like a good choice.
I changed the name to Crow's Nest Bar and added a small crow's nest to the model.

Small Buildings
I am starting a new diorama and wanted some small buildings for the rear portion. Each of these is about 12 by 20 scale feet in HO. A doctor's office, a drug store and a fix-it shop. These are not contest quality models but simply small background buildings. Each is about 1 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep.

Coplin's Barber Shop in HO
When I was a kid, the town barber was Eber Coplin.
So I built a small barber shop with Eber sitting outside waiting for a customer.
